Background Information
Here Comes The Bride! May 2004.
In addition to having a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio and Television Production, Videographer and Producer Mike Cummins has worked for several network-affiliated TV and Radio stations.

He has produced and directed hundreds of commercials for television and radio. If you live in the Tulsa area, you have most likely seen his work or heard his voice.

Too many businesses and too many brides spend outrageous amounts of money for sub-standard video and poor quality. PICTURE PERFECT VIDEO PRODUCTIONS was formed in 2001 to provide Oklahoma brides, businesses and organizations with high-quality, affordable production options.

If you are a bride-to-be considering the use of a videography service for your big day be sure to let us show you what true, professional videography looks and sounds like.

The Groom Awaits. May 2004.
...And They Lived Happily Ever After. May 2004.

Since forming PICTURE PERFECT VIDEO PRODUCTIONS in 2001, the responses from Oklahoma brides who have used our services has followed a positive and nearly unanimous theme:

A WEDDING VIDEO FROM PICTURE PERFECT VIDEO PRODUCTIONS IS MONEY WELL SPENT!

Additional Considerations
Choosing The Right Videographer
Professional Wedding Videography is a unique service. Reputable Wedding Guides usually offer great advice to brides and grooms to be. However, during the course of our time in business we have noticed that some of the most important considerations are often ignored.

In addition to the obvious budget considerations, most planners strongly recommend brides choose a person who has been shooting videos for an extended length of time. A Videographer's experience is certainly important but consider the possibility that even an average to bad videography business can survive for years through marketing.
Before you invest in a videographer, be sure you view as many recent samples of their work as possible. Don't be afraid to ask for several references. Consider: A wedding vendor that resists your requests may have something to hide.

When viewing samples, listen and note the overall sound quality. Can you hear the vows being exchanged?

Note the lighting. Reception ballrooms are often dark. Can you clearly see the action?

Finally, ask yourself: Is this a video that a relative could have shot? Does the overall picture and sound quality have a professional "TV Program" look to it?

If you can't answer "yes" to all of the above questions, it may be in your best interest to keep looking. Better yet, give us a call at (918)260-2989. Or e-mail us at Mike@TulsaVideos.com.

One more important consideration: Beware of photographers offering video as part of their services!
Photography and Videography are completely different and unique services.  Professional wedding videography requires a knowledge of shooting techniques, audio considerations such as microphone placement and, perhaps most crucial, video editing skills.
